Possible Mad Cow case in Elba

The health department are investigating the possible death of a middle aged woman from Mad Cow disease in Elda, Alicante. The results of tests are now awaited, but it is known that the victim suffered a degenerative condition which had lasted for the past five years. If the case is confirmed it we become only the second death from Mad Cow’s disease registered in Spain.
