A local Nerja man was lost for 5 hours after getting separated from his friends
A young man from Nerja has been rescued by a team of Civil Guard, Protección Civil volunteers and local police, after 5 hours spent lost in the Sierra Almijara on Saturday.
Named as RAP, the youngster became separated from a group of friends on a cycling trip to Cuesta del Cielo, and was unable to find his way back down.
He called for help using his mobile phone after falling into a ravine. He was not injured in the fall, but was too exhausted and dehydrated to go any further.
