A boat from La Caleta de Vélez has been collecting the creatures from the water
It’s now the turn of Nerja to suffer the smuck of jellyfish close to shore, with the local Town Hall calling for both technical and economic help from the Junta de Andalucía to deal with the huge numbers which reached the municipality yesterday.
More than 500 bathers were stung, despite the warnings given and a yellow flag above the main Burriana Beach.
A boat from La Caleta de Vélez spent the day collecting as many of the creatures as possible.
