Authorities say they belong to a network which operated in Murcia and Almería
Alicante Civil Guard say they have arrested five members of a network of organised criminals who they believe are responsible for a number of warehouse robberies in Murcia and Almería.
Investigators believe they hid the proceeds of the robberies in a cache in Crevillente which has yet to be located.
The suspects were arrested in Guardamar del Segura town centre on Wednesday - reports say they are all Albanian Kosovans.
The authorities say there could be further arrests.
Meanwhile the Civil Guard are investigating the find of a body in a burnt out car in the Benifato area of Benidorm. They think the killing could be linked to mafias from Eastern Europe.
