Five cases of domestic violence in Murcia Region this weekend

Three of them were in Murcia city itself

EFE news agency reports five cases of domestic violence in the Murcia Region over this past weekend. The first was in Puente Tocinos on Saturday where a Belgian man was arrested after assaulting his two sons. He was also violent towards the police officers who questioned him at the scene, and is said to have broken the door of their patrol car. Reports say that he was drunk.

There were two more assaults in Murcia city on Saturday. Both men accused are Moroccan and were accused of assaulting their girlfriends. Only one of the men was arrested.
Another report of assault at the hands of her partner came from a Colombian woman in Torreaguera.

And in the Purísima area of Murcia on Sunday night, a Colombian woman reported that she and her 14 year old step-daughter were both assaulted by her brother-in-law. He was taken into custody by police.
