Judge extends deadline for final reports on Almuñécar viaduct collapse

Six men died when a viaduct under construction over the Río Verde gave way a year ago

The judge who is investigating the viaduct collapse on the Autovía del Mediterráneo in Almuñecar a year ago will receive the final two reports on the accident in just over 10 days’ time.

They are to be presented on 4th December and concern tests on the materials and welded seams, and analysis and assessment of hydraulic systems.

Six men died when a viaduct under construction over the Río Verde collapsed on 7th November last year.
