He collapsed and died after chasing after the thief in Nerja town centre
A robbery victim died of a heart attack in Nerja on Thursday, as he was chasing after the thief who had stolen his money.
The assault happened in the town centre, just a few minutes after the victim had withdrawn the money from a cash machine. He had only been giving chase for several metres when he collapsed to the ground and died.
The victim, around 50 years old and from Norway, had a residence in Nerja and spent large periods of the year in the town.
