The cat is the most threatened species in Spain

Five Iberian Lynx have been born in captivity as part of the species regeneration program underway in the Doñana Nature Park over the past week.

Three arrived on Wednesday, and another two on Friday at the El Acebuche Centre.

The sex of the kittens is still not known but all are said to be doing well.

The Iberian Lynx is the species under greatest threat of extinction in Spain.
