The cautionary measure results from actions of Sheik Al-Thani and an open litigation with Blue Bay

Blue Bay is an old sponsor of the club and they have also accused the Sheik’s ex number two, Abdullah Ghubn, for supposed misappropriation of the shareholding of the football club.

El Mundo reported the name of the hotelier behind the action, Jamel Iglesias who placed his demand for 49% of the shares, on February 13 this year, claiming that they belong to him.

In a statement Blue Bay assured in March 2013 after they entered into the 49% of the shareholding of the club, through the company Nas Spain 2000 S.L. in which Al-Thani has 51% of the shares, they became the manager of the club, both in administration and in sporting.

Blue Bay has also reported that Al-Thani constituted in June 2014 a single-person society called Nas Football Spain S.L. and as the only owner of the club this was done to elude the payment of the 30 million promised and to defraud Blue Bay.
