Nov 6, 2015 - 7:16 AM

The modernised Al Andalus cable car will be far quicker this season after a large improvement carried out during the summer, including new structures, mechanics and electronics to celebrate its 25th year in service.

With an investment of more than two million €, this cable car which connects the development at Pradollano with the ski runs in Borreguiles, has seen the replacement of more than 200 pulleys and 50 seesaws, and replaced all the bolts and substituted deteriorated items.

Two of the 26 pylons which support the cable car have been renovated to guarantee reliability.
