1622 - In Madrid, the king fined with 3,000 ducats to the Marquis of Cañete and exiled him from the city for having beaten a few servants.
1763 - In Paris, the Treaty of Paris is signed, which ends the Seven Years' War and in which France and Spain suffer colonial losses in favor of England.
1805 - King suppressed by decree bullfighting.
1929 - the first ever match day of the Spanish Football League is played.
