Horror attack in Ibiza on British family

Horror attack in Ibiza as British father, 52, and twin sons, aged 25, are robbed and stabbed with knives and broken bottles: it happened in the ‘West End’ last Wednesday

A British family was brutally attacked and robbed while on holiday in Ibiza in the early hours of last Wednesday. The theft descended into a brawl between Britons and Senegalese in the area known as ‘West End’ in Sant Antoni.

According to a statement from the Guardia Civil, the fight started when some British tourists on the street were attacked by a group of people who jumped on top of them, snatching a gold chain and ring.

The aggressors were using knives and broken bottles which slightly injured three of the Britons who needed medical attention in the centre in Sant Antoni. One of those present during the fight took a video and later placed it on YouTube. It shows the moment when a chair was thrown.

The Guardia Civil and Sant Antoni Local Police detained the same day two men of Senegalese origin for the presumed crimes of violent robbery and causing injuries with a knife.
They were indentified after an anonymous person took the video to the dependences of Local Police.

The two aggressors, were found and detained and are now at judicial disposition.
