The Homicides group from the National Police are still investigating this triple crime perpetrated yesterday afternoon.
The autopsy is taking place today on the three cadavers; which were taken overnight to the Forensic Anatomy Institute in Madrid.

As of yet, the detectives have not ruled out any hypothesis over the motive of the triple assassination, but given the Peruvian lawyer had been a prosecutor in his home country with an agenda of kidnapping and drug trafficking, may indicate a settling of scores.

The event took place before seven yesterday afternoon, when the emergency services received a call about a fire, but when they arrived at the property, located at 40 Calle Marcelo Usera, they found a different reality.

The 42 year old Ecuadorian man was found in one of the offices with an axe in his head, and by him there was a small fire of papers and books. It appears he was a client.

In another room, two women, one according to neighbours Cuban and called Marisa, 35 years old and well know locally because she delivered advertising for the office. Both employees were found on the floor, one with her throat cut and the other with a fatal blow to the head.

Both are yet to be indentified, although one is believed to be 31 years old. There was also a small fire here, and according to the emergency services the three bodies were partially burned.

The Police have managed to locate the Peruvian lawyer, who was not in his office at the moment of the crime, and he was interrogated by Homicide agents who have taken charge of the investigation, while specialists from the Scientific Police have been collecting samples and evidence.

It is considered to be a complicated case, which could take sometime to solve, be it a settling of scores or a vendetta.

This tragic event has caused much upset in the neighbourhood in the south of the capital, chosen by many immigrants to live, mostly Latin American and Chinese.

In fact, the office also dealt with immigration matters, as did another located two doors up, where some 200 neighbours gathered in amazement.

One local named Nuría, told the EFE news agency that talking to the locals she understood at around 5pm somebody had telephoned one of the deceased, and again half an hour later when there was no answer.

A wide Police contingent and teams from emergency services were soon at the scene, where they had to attend to several people, possibly family members of the victims.

The Municipal Police had to block the traffic and closed a stretch of Marcelo Usera, the main artery to the south, and they removed for inspection a white Skoda car, which was parked nearby, and could have belonged to the male victim.

Around 21.30 the duty judge ordered the lifting of the bodies now undergoing autopsies.
