Pablo Iglesias accused the PSOE of not being honest with his party
Feb 25, 2016 - 7:16 AM
Podemos spokesman, Iñigo Errejón, reported their decision
‘The PSOE has chosen and this choice is not compatible with Podemos’ and he accused the socialists of frustrating ‘an historic opportunity’.
Errejón considered the agreement between PSOE and Ciudadanos ‘is neither progressive nor reformist’ and in his consideration ‘is perfect for the Ibex 35’
The agreement between the PSOE and Ciudadanos is entitled ‘The political change in Spain is synonymous with dialogue and making agreements’ and contains:
Proposed by Ciudadanos and accepted by PSOE:
A complementary wage for low income earners
The closing of the Diputación provincial governments
No increase in Income Tax
Increase maternity and paternity time without equality
Three types of work contracts, indefinite, training and replacement… a stable contract with increased compensations for unemployment and to replace the temporary contract. (Ciudadanos wanted a single contract).
Proposed by the PSOE and accepted by Ciudadanos:
No more social cuts
Recovery of the health card and make the right to healthcare universal
A new wealth tax
Modify article 135 of the Constitution to provide the financing for the basic needs of social rights
And to introduce an agreement for ‘developing the concept of a Federal State
Podemos had left the door open to talk to PSOE but only after March 5 if their leader Pedro Sánchez has not been invested.
