US basketball player for Betis thought he was witnessing the Ku Klux Klan

Trent Lockett expressed his amazement on the social networks when walking in Sevilla.

The American player for Betis Energy plus Trent Lockett was unaware of Spanish traditions. Born in Golden Valley (Minnesota) he arrived at the Sevilla club in August 2016 and this was his first chance to see the processions during Holy Week.

Posting photos to Instagram having witnesses several Nazarenes with pointed hats he thought it was the Ku Klux Klan, but fortunately his fans soon put him right that this religious tradition has nothing to do with the racialist organisation.

He tweeted in response ‘I have 0 to do with the KKK. This tradition is more than 100 years before the birth of the Ku Klux Klan’
