Sistema Ibérico Ski Resorts - Valdelinares

Valdelinares is further to the northeast, but also within an easy drive of the Costa Dorada and the Costa Azahar, and is set within the breathtaking scenery of the Sierra de Gúdar.

Oct 26, 2014 - 10:35 PM
The resort takes its name from the village of the same name, which, at a height of 1,693 metres, is one of the highest villages on the Spanish mainland.

Also very popular with the people of Valencia for a weekend’s skiing – and especially in combination with a trip around the unspoilt scenery and mountain villages of this area - there are nine ski runs here, with three levels of difficulty: three red, three blue and three green runs, all making up a total skiable area of seven kilometres. There are a further four kilometres for cross-country skiing.

There is a system of 110 snow cannons to provide artificial snow to the total area,10 ski lifts, two ski schools with 40 instructors, as well as equipment hire on site.

The resort has five cafés and a restaurant. Accommodation for around 1,300 people is available within a radius of 25 km, although there is none in the resort itself.
