The two responsible for the club in Estepona where a woman drowned in the flooded basement during the torrential rain were detained by the National Police last Monday when the investigation opened into irregularities in her employment.
The 26 year old Romanian was asleep in the club as she was still looking for somewhere to live, and she in the basement under the Costasol Commercial Centre.
The girl telephoned a girlfriend who advised her to go to the bar, as the firemen arrived. The alarm was sounded at 1120pm, but when the agents managed to get in the water had reached the ceiling, and only her body could be saved.
