These new search devices are looking for Anthony John Dalton, a resident on the island, who was reported missing on August 22.

The councillor for Citizen Participation and Emergencies, Carmen Brito, underlined the benefits of these unmanned drones as proven by their use by Cecopin, ‘a bird’s eye view which the drones offer us are very useful in many circumstances as we have proven when searching for people or monitoring for any new forest fires when the drone gives accurate information on the perimeter of the area affected’.

The missing man is white, thin, 1-70 tall, short fine thinning grey hair, roman nose and prominent chin.
