Three detained for cultivating 90 marihuana plants in a house in Salobreña.


In addition, another man was arrested after having swallowed 48 acorns of hashish which weighed more than 500 grams

The National Police has detained two men aged 22 and 39 and a 60 year old woman in Salobreña (Granada) for the presumed ownership of a marihuana cultivation inside a home, where they intervened 90 plants of wild cannabis.

The investigation started after the detectives discovered the existence of the plantation of marihuana, which was prepared for sale and distribution. The Police then homed in on the home in a real estate development in Salobreña and the 90 plants owned by the now detained.

Meanwhile, the police were alerted by the Motril Hospital that a patient of central European origin has been assisted for stomach problems.

After carrying out the corresponding medical tests, it was determined the 47 year old man had ingested 48 acorns of hashish which weighed more than 500 grams, and so he was detained.
