A thousand people supported a demonstration held in the city this weekend
One thousand people are said to have supported a demonstration held in Alicante City on Saturday evening, to demand an end to property speculation and to unsustainable development.

It was organised by the platform ‘Compromís pel Territori,’ – which encompasses some 70 separate organisations and associations – to call for a moratorium on all real estate development and an end to what was described as the ‘aggressions’ suffered by both coastal and inland areas of the province.
