The Macrofestival is to be held in Madrid on May 5

The first lesbian ‘Macrofestival’ is being held in Madrid on May 5.

It’s the first time that such an event has been organised in Spain and some 3,000 women from across the country are expected to attend.

‘Nosotras Somos Todas’ intends to bring together the diversity of lesbians across Spain, and following the example set in the 1951 William Wellman film ‘Caravan of Women’ the organisers are making a tour of large cities of Spain to promote the event in the capital.

Three top lesbian dj’s will animate the proceedings.
