Four regional policemen in Cataluña have been suspended without pay following the case which has already been heard in the instruction court
A five minute video of alleged police brutality, filmed in secret in Barcelona, has now been placed on You Tube.

The video was originally shown on the El Mundo website and shows how four members of the regional police, Los Mossos D’Esquadra, hit and kicked Rubén Pérez in the Les Corts police station in the city on March 31 after his arrest for what was called an incident in the street.

He claims he finally lost consciousness as a result of the beating.

The four police concerned have been suspended without pay and declared to the instruction judge in the city last week, with their defence being they used the minimum force necessary.

They did not know that a camera had been placed in the interviewing room, but told the judge that if they had known it was there they would have acted in the same way.

The camera had been put in place following previous allegations of police brutality.
