smallerBy h.b. - May 12, 2007 - 10:43 PMScientists think some fragments may have fallen to earth in the Ciudad Real areaA fireball fell across the centre of the country on Thursday night with sightings in Cuenca, Toledo, Ciudad Real and Valladolid.
Scientists believe it was a meteorite and say it’s quite a normal phenomenon, possibly a fragment from a comet which fell from earth orbit.
Astronomers think that some of the fragments may have reached the ground in the Ciudad Real area and a search has been established. An email address has been established for those who may have any information – spmn@ieec.uab.es
