It happened last night on the Playa de Cueva del Almanzora
A man in his 50’s, reported to be a foreigner, drowned on the Playa de Cueva del Almanzora in Almería yesterday evening.
It happened at 9,20pm but the reason why the man got into difficulties is unclear.
His body had to be rescued by members of his family who were also on the beach at the time.
The Guardia Civil are investigating.
