The father took the ten year old by the hand on one of the runs in the San Fermin festival last week
The El Mundo newspaper today reports that the Instruction Judge 1 in Fuenlabrada, Madrid, Adolfo Carretero, has ordered that the father who took his ten year old son by the hand and ran with him in one of the San Fermines Bull Runs on July 10th, be deprived of visiting rights to the child.

The judge ordered that the child be returned to its mother immediately.

The judge made his ruling after the mother presented a denuncia alleging the father’s negligence in the care of a minor.

There is a general rule in Pamplona that only over 18’s can take part in the bull runs, and television viewers across the country were amazed to see the ten year old, with his father, narrowly escape a goring.

The father, Luis Miguel Gómez, however tells the paper that he would be prepared to take his son on another bullrun, despite the fact that the ‘joke’ as he put it, also cost him a local 150 € fine.
