Don Felipe de Borbón has been launching an expansion of the Cervantes Institute
Don Felipe de Borbón, Prince of Asturias, is in Brazil for the launch of new expansion plans for the Cervantes Institute.
The institute is to open new branches in Brasilia, Salvador de Bahía, Curitiba and Porto Algere.
The Prince told his audience that would improve relations between Spain and Brazil, and the expansion was evidence of the increasing demand to learn Spanish in Brazil.
The Prince has also had a private lunch with President Luis Inácio Lula de Silva in the Alvorada Palace.
