He was one of 66 people arrested across Spain for Internet child pornography
It was revealed on Thursday that a man from Motril was one of the more than 60 people who were arrested across Spain in the recent National Police operation ‘Penalty’ against Internet child pornography.

EFE news agency names the suspect as 41 year old Hipólito P.L., and says police found close to 300 pornographic images on his computer in a search of his home. He is also said to have admitted to police that he passed the images on to others.

One of the 66 people arrested in the case – a primary school teacher in Avilés, Asturias - committed suicide earlier this week, on the day before he was due to appear in court.
