The regional government has plans for a tram system to connect the town centre with Terra Mítica and Terra NaturaThe Alicante newspaper, Información, reports this morning on a plan by the Generalitat de Valencia for a tram line to connect
Benidorm town centre with the two theme parks:
Terra Mítica and
Terra Natura.
The contract for the design project is expected to be awarded in early September at a cost of 600,000 €.
The route, which has yet to be designed, will run from the future bus station, through the city centre, and then on to the theme parks. There is no information as yet on when the new system could be up and running.
