The Achievers kicked off the Autumn season with a speech from local radio presenter, Rosalind Scott-Gibb
MURDER ON HIS MIND
“Murder on his mind” was the plot for local radio presenter, Rosalind Scott-Gibb’s speech that kicked off the Autumn season at Toastmasters Marbella; a Roald Dahl type story, filled with excitement, suspense and an extraordinary conclusion that questioned the moral of Looking a gift horse in the mouth.
A number of members were put on the spot to speak on a variety of topics from the meaning of life to an accidental visit to a nudist convention and the creativity of their answers was inspiring, entertaining and gave everyone a good laugh (as well as a few blushes!)
The “Achievers” are the Marbella branch of Toastmasters International, the World’s leading organisation for Public Speaking. They have a fun packed schedule of events over the coming months and guests are very welcome to come along and find out what this award winning club is all about.
They meet every Wednesday at 7:30pm in the social room above Bar el Jardin in Aloha Gardens, Nueva Andalucia.
