Details are to be debated in the Cabinet Meeting tomorrow
The Ministry for Housing in Spain has said it wants to speed up the process that property owners go through when they want to get bad paying renters out of their accommodation.
It’s currently often a long and complicated process to get such bad payers out of the property and the Government considers that this is another brake on people renting out accommodation in the first place.
The new plan is for express evictions and details are to be debated in the Cabinet meeting tomorrow.
Minister for Housing, Carme Chacón, said yesterday that the new plan will also relax the conditions which give property owners a 6,000 € bonus, in order to stimulate the rental market across the country.
