Unions say the stoppages will take place on 5th, 24th and 31st December
Unions in Almería province have announced a strike in the hostelry sector, to take place on three key days in December: just before the holiday puente on 5th December, on Christmas Eve and on New Year’s Eve.
It would affect 30,000 employees if they all choose to support it.
Spokesmen for both the UGT and Comisiones Obreras unions told Europa Press that the decision comes after 15 negotiating meetings with employers have failed to reach agreement on the new collective agreement for the sector.
