The Marina d'Or development in Valencia is described as the largest vacation and holiday resort in EuropeThe owner of the massive Marina d’Or development on the coast of Valencia,
Jesús Ger, has been charged with perversion of the course of justice and influence peddling. He will have to appear before the judge on Monday.
The development is described as the largest vacation and holiday resort in Europe. The prosecution alleges that this complex of hotels and tourist facilities, near to Orpresa del Mar, does not have the approval of the Spanish Coastal Authority.
A 350,000 square metre extension to the site was also allegedly granted in an irregular way.

Also charged in the case is the local Partido Popular mayor,
Rafael Albert, who already declared in court on November 15 together with municipal technicians, and the municipal secretary and architect.
