Civil Guard swoop on an Águilas beach recovers half a ton of cannabis

Two Romanian men are in custody
The Civil Guard in Águilas have recovered half a ton of cannabis resin from Playa Elena in the town thanks to a warning from their colleagues in Almería province on Sunday night.
Officers found 15 packages of the drug floating close to shore when they arrived on the beach and took two Romanian men into custody, D.S. aged 18 and A.H., 39 years old. Europa Press said they were found nearby, one with wet clothes and beach sand on his shoes. There was no sign of the boat which brought the drugs onto the beach.
