The victim, who is thought to have suffered a violent death, has not been identified
The body of an unidentified man was found on a rubbish tip on Gran Canaria on Friday afternoon. The body has been taken to the Legal Medicine Institute where the autopsy will be carried out, but the Civil Guard say the victim met a violent death.
The body was found at the Botiia tip in Sardina de Gáldar.
