Initial Civil Guard investigations show it collapsed in a gust of wind because it was not properly secured to the ground
Three of the seven children who were injured in an accident involving a bouncy castle in Jaén province on Saturday afternoon were transferred to Intensive Care in the Materno Infantil Hospital in Jaén City on Sunday. One has multiple fractures and the other two suffered head injuries, Europa Press reports, but it’s understood that all three are in a stable condition. Their ages range between four and eight, and a fourth child, also seriously hurt, remains under treatment in the Alto Guadalquivir Hospital in Andújar. The remaining three children suffered minor injuries, and were expected to be discharged on Sunday.

The accident happened at a service station on the A-4 road near Marmolejo, when a gust of wind caused the bouncy castle to collapse. The province has been on a yellow weather alert for high winds, with gusts of up to 70 km/hour. Civil Guard investigations show it was not securely fixed to the ground, and possible negligence on the part of the company is now under investigation.

The name of the company which owns the castle is given by EFE as Mercatur Iliebana S.L., which is based at the site where the accident happened, and the news agency reports that the parents of some of the children who were injured have said they plan to take legal action against the company.
