The player picked up an injury last Sunday
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres is doubtful for the Spanish game against Italy tomorrow, and has missed the first training session organised by Luis Aragonés in Elche.
It follows a rib injury picked up by the player during his last game against Manchester United on Sunday when he was in collision with Rio Ferdinand.
Torrres has had a run of bad luck with the Spanish national side of late, and it remains unclear whether he will play tomorrow.
However Aragonés has not called in any extra striker for the friendly. He also has Carles Puyol on the injury bench missing training.
Meanwhile Barcelona star Bojan is in Antequera today to lead the Spanish Under 21 side in a European Cup qualifying game against Kazakhstan.
