The Bishop of Ciudad Real, Antonio Algora, has called on the Virgen de la Encarnación brotherhood in the La Mancha village of Abenójar to expel a 54 year old woman, named María Rey Santos, who is Vice-president of the brotherhood, because of her ‘manifestly scandalous conduct’.

It’s not the first time that the Bishopn February the Bishop of Ciudad Real has attacked homosexuals. During the General Election campaign he compared the Prime Minister José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero to Caligula for allowing gay marriages.
