Renault will be using a new front suspension on the R28 at the race
Renault says that they will be using a new suspension for the troubled R28 car at the next Formula One race in Barcelona. According to sports paper AS, the reason that the car is performing so poorly this season is because the engineer who left McLaren to join the Renault team brought with him seven new design plans, including the one for the new suspension, but the plans were hardly legible.

The paper claims that Renault then decided to develop their own suspension and say nothing about the designs. The paper says it is a shock absorber in the suspension which keeps the height of the car above the road stable during acceleration or breaking.

The team calculates that with the new device, Fernando Alonso
has the possibility of being second in Barcelona gaining an estimated half a second lap time.

This is kinda hilarious ! First there was so fame of so called revolutionary W-wing and now this new suspension...It's not easy to bring seconds so easily in 3 weeks.

PS Huge Alonso fan !
