Changes in the car's aerodynamics do not seem to have had much effect, as yet.
Renault has been showing the new design of their R 28 formula one car in testing at the Montmeló circuit near Barcelona. Nelsinho Piquet has been given the job of testing the changes made to the vehicle which are aerodynamic in nature, but first reports from the track are not good.
Testing continued all yesterday morning with different levels being adjusted. Quite how successful the changes have been will be clear at the Spanish Grand Prix which is held at the circuit next week.
Fastest in yesterday’s testing at the track was Felipe Massa in his Ferrari.
