Two more mothers are expected to give birth to cubs in forthcoming days
Good news for the Iberian Lynx with the birth of six new cubs as part of the conservation program underway at the Acebuche centre in the Doñana Nature Park.
The mothers named, Esperanza, Aliaga and Aura have, over the past few days, given birth to a total of six cubs, two of which have been removed from their own mothers for their own good.
The new births takes the number of surviving cubs to 13. More births are expected from two other mothers over the next few days at the Olivilla centre in Santa Elena in Jaén and at the zoo in Jerez.
