Manuel Chaves names more women than men in his new cabinet in Andalucía

It is the second time that there has been more women in the regional cabinet in Andalucía
Manuel Chaves has revealed his cabinet team in the Junta de Andalucía after being elected for the sixth consecutive term in the region, and just as has been seen in the national government in Madrid, his cabinet also contains a majority of women.

There will be eight women and seven men in the team, and it is the second time that women are in the majority in Andalucía.
Seven councillors repeat from the previous legislature, while María del Mar Moreno takes over Public Works and Transport and Juan Espadas takes over Housing.

The compete Andalucian cabinet is as follows:
Gaspar Zarrías who remains in the Presidencia, José Antonio Griñán in Economy, Francisco Vallejo in Innovation, Antonio Fernández in Employment, María Jesús Montero in Health, Micaela Navarro in Equality and Social Welfare, Rosa Torres in Culture and Evangelina Naranjo who moves from Governent to Justice.

The new faces are Clara Aguilera in Government, Mar Moreno in Public Works and Transport, Juan Espadas in Housing and Territorial Ordinance, Luciano Alonso in Tourism, Tradde and Sport, Martín Soler in Agriculture and Fisheries, Teresa Jiménez in Education, and finally Cinta Castillo in Environment.
