The 83 year old blind victim was left to fend for herself after a care worker was sacked by the 48 year old son
National Police in Málaga have arrested a 48 year old man, José Juan M.M. for allegedly ill-treating his blind 83 year old mother. The victim is reported to have lost a great part of her mobility since February when her son sacked a care worker who was attending her, and the home where she lived was found now to have hygiene problems.
The Andalucian Health Service has opened an investigation with Málaga social services. and the woman is now in a residency.
