The abuse of the nine year old boy is said to have occured in the summer of 2002.
The prosecutor is calling for a two and a half year prison sentence for a teacher at a college in Xábia,(Javea) who is accused of sexually abusing a nine year old boy. He also wants a distancing order from the victim for five years and 3,000 € to be paid in compensation.
Europa Press reports that the 37 year old teacher, named with the initials C.V.N. and originally from Logroño, used his position of authority to obtain the trust of the victim, collecting him from 5 a side football practice.
The man took the child to his home several times according to the allegations and even obtained the blessing from the boy’s mother for a two week trip to Logroño in July 2002. It was there that one night he is alleged to have got into the child’s bed.
