An autopsy is to be carried out on the child today to establish the cause of death.
A 9 year old boy, named as Santiago Ule Martínez, has died suddenly after collapsing in a school playground in Elche. It happened at 2pm yesterday at the Newton College in Elche, and emergency workers could do nothing to save the child’s life when they arrived.
The victim was the son of two municipal civil servants and an autopsy will be carried out today to establish the cause of death.
