Protests continue at Barcelona while Atlético qualify for the Champions LeagueIt was a bitter goodbye for Barcelona manager, Frank Rijkaard whose last home game at the Camp Nou ended 2-3 against Mallorca. Barcelona again showed they did not known how to hold the lead. Before the game the local fans made it clear that they are still unhappy at the management of the club, with more calls for the resignation for the Chairman, Joan Laporta. There were banners in thanks for the efforts of Rijkaard, and many of the players were whistled at once play began.
Real Madrid were lucky to come away from Zaragoza with a 2-2 draw. The local side failed to convert many opportunities to score.
Good news for Atlético who have confirmed their place in the Champions League next year with a 1-0 win against Deportivo.
On the same score Sevilla now know they will not be in the competition next season.
The last relegation place in the Primera Liga will now be for Zaragoza, Osasuna, Recreativo or Valladolid.
