The tragedy happened at 9am yesterday morning.
A 48 year old worker from a ceramic factory worker in Agost died yesterday morning after being trapped in the mechanism of a brick cutting machine. Reports indicate that the married man and father of two was crushed against a pillar when he was changing the knives of the cutting machine at 9am yesterday morning.
His work colleagues could do nothing to save his life. The company, one of the largest ceramics factories in the area and close to San Vicente, remained closed yesterday.
