The attack happened in the emergency department of the Carlos Haya Hospital in Málaga.
A 29 year old Argentinean patient who was not happy with the result of an operation to set a broken leg carried out on him at the Carlos Haya hospital in Málaga, returned to complain at the hospital and found a different doctor to his own surgeon, grabbing him by the neck in a hostile attack. The doctor told the court that the man managed to stop him breathing for several seconds.

The man’s lawyer claimed that the scar from the operation had not healed correctly and that her client continued to suffer from discomfort.

The judge has ordered an 8 month prison sentence for the attack, with a 600 € fine, for the man who was arrested last Friday by the National Police after the attack which happened in the hospital’s emergency department.
