Every year, Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice celebrates its renowned Sunflower Campaign.
During this event, Cudeca volunteers take to the streets selling sunflower pins (the sunflower is the symbol of the international palliative care movement), with the aim of raising funds and awareness of the care offered to patients suffering from non-curable advanced cancer and to their family to the local communities.
The campaign will take place between the 24th May and 8th June outside various public locations in Malaga city and province; Arroyo de la Miel, Fuengirola, Nerja, Mijas, Estepona, Torremolinos, Marbella, Torre del Mar, Málaga, Coín, Benalmádena etc.
By holding this event, we will raise funds which will allow Cudeca to continue offering cost-free care to patients suffering from advanced cancer within our province. This year, the funds raised will be exclusively destined to help save the in-patient unit.
To participate in the Sunflower Campaign and to receive more information regarding this event, please do not hesitate to contact the Fundraising dept. at the Hospice centre by email: eventos@cudeca.org, web site www.cudeca.org or telephone: 952 56 49 10.
