it's unfurtunate that Raul isn't in the squad, i dont expect Torres and
Villa will perform better in this tournament,my hope is on Dani Guiza,so i
advise spanish coach to look at him very carefull and give him all the
necessary support, i am very sure he will make it. i wish the spanish team
the best.

As some had expected, the Real Madrid captain, Raúl, is not named among the 23 players.
The Spanish national football team manager, Luis Aragonés, has caused upset if not surprise by, once again, leaving Raúl out of his 23 man squad for the European Cup. The decision is even more dramatic this time round as he was known to be facing a shortage of attacking players after Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic asked to be excused as he said he was exhausted.
Sergio García, Santi Cazorla, Navarro, Palop and De la Red, are the new members of the squad, and it will be the first time that Raúl, the Real Madrid captain misses such a championship.
The European Championships get underway on June 7 and are held this year in Austria and Switzerland. Spain’s first game is against Russia on the 10th at 6pm.
The complete Spanish squad:
Íker Casillas
Pepe Reina

I am an ethiopian young boy.I admit for the spanish squad to win the trophy
that cesc must be in the starting 11 since he is the best world class
midfielder.
I love him very much and he is arsenal's pillar

I'm dying if cesc is not in startin'11. he is the best support and he knows
what to do even in truck of many. No one is perfect like him and can make
finished passes for the striking part.
