The ex Manager of Valencia had said that Joaquín was worth a mere 30 Euros.
Football player for Valencia, Joaquín, has said that he is not going to allow the ex trainer of the club, Dutchman Ronald Koeman, damage his reputation with declarations made on television in Holland earlier this week. Koeman said that Joaquín was not worth a mere 30 €, when the club had paid 30 million for the player.
The player said his relationship with the Dutchman had veered into being more personal than sporting, and that the ex Manager’s comments were unjust. He said he wished he was half as clever as Koeman who had taken seven million € in just five months at the club.
Koeman was more worried about his wine with his meal than anything else, he said, adding that winning the King’s Cup this season had not made up for what the club had suffered.
